Making Submissions to the Review

The Government has invited all interested stakeholders to provide written submissions to the review. The views and information provided in these submissions will assist the Government in determining its response to developments in the Commonwealth Government Securities (CGS) market.

The written submissions should focus on the key issues raised in the discussion paper and any other issues that stakeholders consider relevant to the topic. It would also assist the consultation process if written submissions were compiled within the framework set out in the discussion paper, where possible, and provided responses to the questions raised in the paper.

The Government is intending to make submissions provided to the review publicly available in a number of formats in order to ensure an inclusive consultation process. Stakeholders that provide written submissions should clearly identify any material that is to be treated as commercial-in-confidence and if they do not wish their submission to be made public.

It would be appreciated if a signed original and an electronic copy of the written submission could be provided.

The Government has requested that submissions be provided by COB 6 December 2002.
